Staff Structural Engineer

In this role you shape high quality structural designs across multiple sectors by leading technical efforts and mentoring junior engineers. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver safe, code compliant solutions and play a key part in project leadership. You'll work on complex analysis, documents, and construction phase activities, with opportunities to advance into senior technical or project leadership. This role offers exposure to diverse programs and the chance to impact sustainable design at scale.

• Lead project components with Engineer of Record, defining codes, loads, analysis methods, and tools; seismic analysis is a plus
• Perform technically advanced work with senior review
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines, staff, clients, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop calculations, plans, specifications, and other contract documents
• Evaluate engineering details and select appropriate alternatives
• Perform Construction Administration tasks, including field reports, RFIs, and submittal reviews
• Travel as needed for project activities and site visits

• 6 or more years of relevant structural engineering project experience
• PE license or Senior EIT candidate planning to sit for PE within 6 months
• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and initiative
• Excellent knowledge of USA codes and standards (IBC, ACI, AISC)
• Strong technical skills with RISA, ETABS, BIM tools, Revit, AutoCAD
• Effective oral and written communication
