Overview

As Product Manager for the Sockets product team, you shape the portfolio to drive long-term growth and market share in a global, cross-functional setting. You'll translate VOC and market insights into strategic roadmaps, balancing technical feasibility with business goals. You collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing to accelerate growth and ensure successful product launches. This role offers impact across multiple regions and a chance to influence TE's competitive position in data center connectivity.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with business strategy
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform decisions
  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies and channel plans
  • Partner with Operations and Engineering to optimize footprint and cost
  • Plan resources, pricing, and profitability targets for the roadmap
  • Drive NRE negotiations and manage key commercial terms
  • Coordinate with Sales and account teams to maximize market share
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to ensure on-time product launches and launches readiness
  • Develop business cases and obtain capital approvals for initiatives
  • Monitor performance, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions
Key requirements
  • Experience in Product Management or Business Development
  • Industry experience in data centers, servers, switches, high-speed interconnects, connectors, or semiconductor markets preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical discipline with 12 years related experience
  • MBA degree preferred with 8 years related experience
  • Ability to work across global time zones and participate in early/late meetings
  • Strong business acumen and ability to communicate complex technical concepts
  • Customer-facing skills including relationship building, negotiation, and business development
  • Proven leadership and ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
