Overview

As an HR Administrator at Q2, youll own the day-to-day configuration and administration of Workday Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll, acting as the functional and technical expert. Youll partner with Total Rewards, Benefits, and Payroll leaders to ensure a seamless employee experience and support adjacent Workday modules as needed. You drive continuous improvement across HR technology, data integrity, and reporting while enabling a smooth HRIS operation across the globe.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and administer Workday Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll modules; provide backup for Benefits and Compensation
  • Design/ configure multi-step business processes and lead end-to-end testing with stakeholder alignment
  • Troubleshoot Workday configurations and reporting, assessing cross-system impacts
  • Ensure data integrity across Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll; lead audits and data quality improvements
  • Write and support standard and custom Workday reports and dashboards; maintain documentation
  • Design scalable HRIS workflows and automations; integrate AI-enabled tools for efficiency
  • Develop end-user procedures, training materials, and conduct system change readiness training
  • Lead requirements gathering and solution validation with HR/Payroll stakeholders; manage Workday implementation workstreams
  • Facilitate strong internal partnerships and represent the HR Technology team with excellence
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR, IS, or related field
  • 5+ years of HRIS experience focused on Workday Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll module configuration/administration
  • Strong understanding of HCM design, workflows, reporting, and compliance
  • Experience with global Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll programs preferred
  • Excellent communication and ability to translate complex configurations for stakeholders
  • SOX/internal compliance audit experience preferred
  • Experience with Workday Benefits/Compensation as a plus; global HRIS experience preferred
  • Familiarity with HR integrations and third-party systems preferred
  • English fluency and authorized to work in the U.S.
