Overview In this role you lead SRE and Production teams to ensure resilient, scalable, and secure platforms. You partner across engineering, architecture, and security to drive operational excellence through automation and observability. You will guide incident response, RCAs, and continuous improvement to reduce outages and improve customer experience. The position offers a chance to shape reliability practices, leverage AI-assisted operations, and grow high-performing teams. You will report on performance and drive measurable reliability outcomes.
Responsibilities- Define and execute SRE strategies to improve reliability, availability, scalability, and performance
- Set and govern SLIs/SLOs and health metrics
- Lead production readiness reviews, disaster recovery testing, and resilience assessments
- Oversee major incident response and RCA processes; ensure corrective actions are completed
- Drive automation to reduce toil and improve recovery times; promote IaC and CI/CD
- Establish observability standards; implement dashboards and metrics for service health
- Partner with cloud and platform teams to support cloud-native/hybrid environments
- Promote AI-assisted operations and intelligent automation in incident analysis and remediation
- Recruit, develop, and retain SRE/Production/Automation/Observability engineers
- Ensure adherence to enterprise risk, security, and regulatory standards
- Support audits, DR exercises, and operational governance programs
- Manage staffing, performance, and career development
Key requirements- 10+ years in technology with production support, infrastructure, cloud, or reliability engineering
