Overview

As part of the Cloud Platform Engineering team, you will shape enterprise cloud infrastructure and secure architectures across multiple platforms. You'll drive automation and modern software delivery, aligning with our cloud strategy and security requirements. You'll partner with security, IAM, and architecture to implement robust guardrails while migrating complex apps to cloud. This role offers an opportunity to influence cloud-first initiatives at scale and mentor a high-performing team.

Responsibilities
  • Architect and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (and other IaC frameworks)
  • Design secure, maintainable solutions in Python/Java
  • Develop applications and services using AKS, serverless, web tech, and databases
  • Lead migration of complex on-premises apps to Azure/AWS/GCP and contribute to enterprise cloud strategy
  • Participate in full SDLC from concept through deployment and optimization
  • Collaborate with Security, IAM, and Architecture to ensure compliance and robust guardrails
  • Create user-focused documentation to strengthen operational excellence
  • Stay ahead of cloud trends and best practices to improve engineering culture
Key requirements
  • 7-9 years of software development experience
  • 5+ years as a Cloud Engineer or cloud-native software engineer
  • Deep IaC expertise with Terraform (or similar)
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP); multi-cloud a plus
  • Broad knowledge of cloud fundamentals (compute, serverless, IAM, networking, security, containers, DNS, storage, monitoring)
  • Working knowledge of DevOps/CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible)
