Overview

In this VP, WM Strategy role you shape Wealth Management's future by solving high-impact strategic questions. You'll synthesize industry insights, build financial models, and develop frameworks to drive growth, profitability, and partnerships. You'll partner across Advisory/Private Wealth, E TRADE, Workplace & Institutional, and Finance to deliver actionable recommendations. Your work will influence multi-year planning and strategic initiatives across the firm. This is a high-impact, cross-functional opportunity at a market-leading wealth business.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze data and build financial models to derive insights
  • Develop strategic frameworks for critical projects
  • Gather competitive intelligence on existing and emerging competitors
  • Create executive-ready presentations communicating business strategy
  • Conduct market research to identify attractive new markets and trends
  • Facilitate Wealth Management strategic initiatives with cross-functional teams
  • Support evaluation of potential acquisitions and partnerships
  • Synthesize insights and deliver clear recommendations to shape MSWM's future
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with strong academic record
  • 5+ years in management consulting, investment banking, or internal strategy/corporate development
  • Direct experience in Wealth Management, Banking, or Financial Services
  • Strong data analysis and financial modeling; solid corporate finance and accounting foundation
  • Attention to detail and excellent written/verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and work independently
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal judgment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in AI tools (prompt writing, GPT applications)
