Regional Fulfillment Center Maintenance Manager

Overview

In this role, you drive regional maintenance and reliability across Chewy's East fulfillment centers. You will implement network priorities and establish a strong operating cadence to improve safety, uptime, and cost performance. You'll lead through Maintenance Managers, shaping talent pipelines and succession plans while ensuring consistent standards. The position combines cross-site leadership with hands-on execution to elevate regional outcomes. You will partner with operations, safety, finance, and engineering to align priorities and drive durable improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure regional safety, reliability/uptime, cost, and people outcomes across sites with standardized maintenance practices
  • Lead regional implementation of network priorities and sustain outcomes
  • Establish and manage a regional operating cadence to review metrics and accelerate best-practice adoption
  • Mentor and develop Maintenance Managers, drive accountability and standard work across sites
  • Build bench strength through talent reviews, succession planning, and targeted development for site leaders
  • Drive standardization of maintenance execution, including planning, scheduling, PM compliance, and defect elimination
  • Identify systemic gaps and partner with cross-functional teams to implement durable corrective actions
  • Collaborate with Operations, Safety, Finance, Engineering and external vendors to align priorities and ensure readiness
Key requirements
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in maintenance, reliability, facilities, or industrial operations; multi-site leadership preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead leaders (manager-of-managers) and build talent pipelines
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Strong knowledge of MHE/automation, conveyance/sortation systems, and reliability practices
  • Base building systems and facility asset fundamentals
  • Proven track record in safety, uptime, cost, and team performance
  • Financial acumen: operating cost management, basic CAPEX/OPEX understanding
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region (30-50%)
