Overview In this role you lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers and NC programmers to support Marietta Production Operations Fabrication and feeder sites. You drive strategic direction, collaboration, and the delivery of operational objectives across manufacturing engineering and tooling. You will champion new technologies and data-driven methods to improve efficiency, quality, and safety, while shaping production processes and layouts. This is a mission-driven opportunity to influence aerospace manufacturing at scale and partner with cross-functional teams. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements and equipment optimization.

Responsibilities- Set strategic direction, allocate resources, and drive achievement of objectives.
- Provide RCA support and align strategy with AMMM Production Engineering.
- Travel to feeder sites (about 25% travel) to engage with teams.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Technology to develop tools and software to boost efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Coordinate with AMMM Tooling & EDTI (Enterprise Drilling Technology and Integration).
- Lead Focus Leader Engagement Management (FLEMOS) execution.
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and layouts; promote adoption of automation and CAD/CAM tools.
- Create and analyze 3D model data to optimize processes and digital work instructions.
- Apply materials knowledge to define operations procedures and build sequences for operational excellence.
- Assess equipment and tool performance, initiate corrective actions, and drive performance improvements.
- Leverage factory data to implement SPC approaches and data analytics for continuous improvement.
- Provide input to product design to optimize manufacturing feasibility and techniques.
- Demonstrate proficiency in AI prompting related to the role.
Key requirements- Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant engineering field.
- Ability to work strategically and tactically to drive operations.
- Previous lead/leadership experience.
- Ability to liaison across Production Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling, Design Engineering, Quality Engineering, SQM, and feeder sites.
