Overview In this role you will complete accounting, tax and audit engagements for clients while managing budgets and deadlines. You will understand each client's business to inform engagement planning and deliver high-quality work. You will mentor staff, help with billing, and explore cross-service opportunities to support client growth. Responsibilities- Complete all aspects of accounting, tax and audit engagements for clients and report progress to engagement managers
- Analyze client business to inform engagement planning
- Manage engagement budgets and explain variances as needed
- Achieve charge hour goals
- Review associates' work and provide constructive feedback
- May supervise and mentor associates on engagements
- Assist Managers/Directors with client billing
- Develop knowledge in selected specialty practice area
- Leverage industry knowledge to cross-sell services in client engagements
- Participate in practice development activities and professional organization involvement
- Execute administrative duties and handle additional responsibilities as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; 2 years public accounting experience
- CPA candidates preferred
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple assignments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels
- Proficient with applicable technology
