Overview In this role you will lead a full project lifecycle on-site for mechanical and MEP systems, ensuring reliability and uptime. You will work closely with field teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget. You will manage schedules, costs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders to achieve value and scope alignment. This position offers hands-on coordination in a national MEP contractor environment with a focus on industrial and commercial projects. You will shape project execution and financial performance while supporting safety and quality goals.
Compensation / Benefits Responsibilities- Oversee the full project lifecycle on-site from planning to closeout with emphasis on reliability and uptime
- Coordinate daily with field superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and client representatives
- Monitor schedules, costs, manpower, and equipment to meet deadlines and financial targets
- Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, change orders, and progress billings
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and vendor quotations for best value and scope alignment
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of project management experience in HVAC/MEP construction, with 2+ years on industrial or commercial projects preferred
- Strong understanding of construction logistics, job cost accounting, and project financials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project) and familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Autodesk Build, Spectrum ERP, or equivalent)
