Overview

In this role you will join a leading international AmLaw firm's Employment & Labor practice to advise and represent clients on complex employment matters. You will work closely with partners and clients, handling litigation and counseling across jurisdictions. The position blends strategic counseling with hands-on litigation, offering exposure to high-profile matters and cross-office collaboration. Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day employment and HR counseling to clients
  • Draft and review employment agreements, handbooks, policies, and severance documents
  • Manage and litigate employment matters, including single-plaintiff and class actions, ERISA, wage-hour issues, and administrative charges
  • Take and defend depositions, oversee written discovery, draft/motion practice, and examine witnesses at trial
  • Advise on sensitive personnel matters and assist with policy development and implementation
  • Support labor matters and NLRB proceedings
  • Conduct due diligence for mergers and acquisitions with focus on employment provisions
  • Contribute to litigation strategy, case management, and internal investigations
Key requirements
  • JD from a top-tier law school
  • Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing
  • 2-6 years of substantive experience in employment law, including litigation and counseling
  • Experience drafting employment documents and providing employment counsel
  • Experience with employment litigation, wage/hour, ERISA, and administrative proceedings
  • Trial experience is a plus
  • Strong client service orientation and responsiveness
