Overview In this role you will serve as a senior member of the legal team supporting ICE Mortgage Technology, focusing on complex commercial contracts for enterprise SaaS solutions. You will partner with product, technology, and go-to-market teams to align deals with business objectives and company risk standards. You will draft and negotiate strategic customer and partner agreements and lead cross-functional negotiations with major customers and financial institutions. You will act as a trusted advisor, shaping templates, processes, and governance to scale legal support across the division. Compensation / Benefits Responsibilities- Build domain expertise in commercial contracting to advocate for the business and execute objectives
- Draft and negotiate strategic customer and partner agreements
- Understand ICE Mortgage Technology solutions and align contracts with product and tech
- Act as strategic partner and advisor to internal go-to-market stakeholders
- Collaborate with the legal team to implement new technologies and update templates/processes
- Lead diverse teams through complex enterprise sales negotiations with clear deliverables and timelines
- Address topics like revenue recognition, data privacy, and information security in contracts
Key requirements- Law degree from an accredited U.S. law school and bar admission
- 8+ years of law firm and/or in-house experience, preferably with a technology company
- Prior experience at a major law firm strongly preferred
- Enterprise SaaS experience and/or negotiations with financial institutions strongly preferred
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to lead diverse teams through complex negotiations and manage stakeholders
- Comfort with topics such as revenue recognition, data privacy, and information security in contracts
