Overview In this role you drive talent initiatives across the plant, partnering with management to influence and implement development, performance, and learning programs. You will analyze data, report insights, and adjust strategies to improve the employee experience and leadership capability. You'll facilitate HR programs, support onboarding and succession planning, and coordinate curricula for development initiatives. The position blends consultative guidance with hands-on execution to build a high-performing workforce aligned with plant goals.
Responsibilities- Shape and drive talent initiatives and performance management through collaborating with plant management
- Design and deliver learning programs using diverse formats (classroom, e-learning, job shadowing)
- Facilitate HR and talent initiatives, career planning discussions, surveys, and analysis
- Coordinate onboarding, promotions, transfers, and succession planning for salaried employees
- Prepare curricula for development programs (Packing House Degree Program) and support interview/hiring for management roles
- Conduct 30/60/90-day check-ins with new managers and oversee trainee programs (SDP, International, US Trainees, Interns)
- Support management with performance management tools and data-driven reporting
Key requirements- Strong verbal and written communication, and negotiation skills
- Supervisor experience in food production, preferably beef
- Highly organized with strong follow-up and attention to detail
- Multitasking capability and analytical mindset
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience facilitating content and delivering training
- Willing to work additional hours/weekends
- Bilingual preferred
