Overview In this role you lead BIM and digital engineering efforts for major civil nuclear projects, focusing on developing and enforcing BIM strategy, standards and the Digital Twin. You will coordinate with SMEs and external partners to ensure a trusted, federated BIM model and support data-rich project delivery. You'll promote digital ways of working, monitor compliance with ISO 19650, and drive cross-project knowledge transfer and design reviews. Responsibilities- Develop and deliver the project's BIM strategy aligned with client requirements
- Promote adoption of ISO 19650 and best BIM practices among stakeholders
- Coordinate BIM specialists across disciplines to ensure model integrity (4D/5D)
- Establish data integrity audits for naming and numbering in authoring tools
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for 3D tools (Revit, Inventor, Navisworks, Aveva E3D)
- Interface with Key Delivery Partners to enable collaboration and federation of BIM content
- Stay informed on BIM industry standards and share knowledge across projects
- Lead design team and clash reviews and manage non-compliances
- Facilitate meetings to identify tasks and resolve issues
Key requirements- Engineering discipline with demonstrable BIM management on major capital projects (design and construction)
- Proven ability to plan and execute BIM transformation projects
- In-depth knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Inventor, Navisworks and Aveva E3D
- Ability to prioritise work and direct others
- Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in writing BIM Execution Plans
- Ability to develop coherent processes compliant with regulator and client requirements
