Responsibilities- Interface management with clients, designers, other agencies, and public
- Provide on-site construction oversight to ensure contract and permit compliance
- Lead and direct a team of inspectors and site engineers for project supervision
- Report progress, safety, financials, quality control, and changes in contract work
- Develop trusted relationships with project team, contractor, and client staff
- Uphold safe construction practices (Beyond Zero) and maintain high construction quality
- Report to Project Manager and coordinate daily with client team and contractor
Key requirements- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or related
- 10+ years of experience as a Resident Engineer, Project Manager, or Construction Manager
- Experience with alternative delivery contracts (GCCM, DB, PDB) preferred
- Proven experience on large transportation projects in Puget Sound area
- Strong knowledge of pre-design/pre-construction, contract management, and project delivery methods
- Ability to build teams and manage client relationships
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or PMP (preferred)
