Overview As a Tax Supervisor in BPM's Flowthrough practice, you guide partnerships, S corporations, and owners through complex tax matters to support client goals. You collaborate with Managers, Directors, and Partners to deliver strategic tax solutions, while mentoring junior staff to ensure high-quality outputs. You'll stay ahead of tax developments and translate them into actionable guidance for clients and the firm. Responsibilities- Review complex partnership, S corporation, individual, and fiduciary tax returns for accuracy and compliance
- Manage multiple tax engagements, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery and QA
- Identify and communicate tax planning opportunities to minimize liabilities
- Research complex tax issues and prepare technical memoranda for clients and leadership
- Supervise and mentor Associates and Seniors, supporting their development
- Stay current on tax legislation and convey impacts to clients and team
Key requirements- 4+ years' public accounting experience with emphasis in Flow-Through Taxation
- Degree in Accounting or related field (Masters a plus)
- Licensed CPA, or in the process of obtaining CPA license OR EA certification
- Experience in tax research on complex issues
- Exposure to various entities and industries
