Responsibilities- Lead negotiations of complex cloud services agreements with key customers
- Develop internal strategy and craft proposals to address customer requirements
- Draft bespoke contractual provisions and interpret terms for commercial impact
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and leaders to drive issue resolution
- Represent AWS Legal in customer negotiations and maintain composure under pressure
- Support departmental initiatives and contribute to scalable legal solutions
- Engage with senior business and legal leaders for strategy and guidance
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of multi-million dollar contract negotiation experience
- 5+ years of drafting and negotiating the legal terms across standard commercial contracts
- Experience with complex commercial/legal concepts and rapid interpretation of legal terminology
- Ability to read situations quickly, read consensus among stakeholders, and manage timelines
