Sr. Corporate Counsel - Policy Strategy & Analytics

Overview

In this role you will guide policy strategy for wireless and emerging services, shaping the company's positions for federal and state policymakers. You will act as a strategy leader, translating priorities into proactive advocacy campaigns and coordinating cross-functional teams to drive policy wins. You'll anticipate risks and opportunities by tracking policymakers and industry trends, and you'll build alliances to advance T-Mobile's regulatory agenda. This is a high-impact position at the policy strategy & analytics team, merging legal insight with strategic execution to support frontline government advocates.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as strategy leader on wireless policy issues and emerging services
  • Develop proactive advocacy positions aligned with company priorities
  • Monitor policymakers and industry participants to foresee risks/opportunities
  • Balance strategy with feasibility to maximize advocacy outcomes
  • Coordinate law firms, consultants, and allies to run policy campaigns
  • Develop and lead strategic alliances to drive advocacy initiatives
Key requirements
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • 5-15 years of legal/public policy experience, with substantial federal telecommunications policy
  • Strong political acumen and ability to navigate complex political dynamics
  • Ability to explain complex issues to general audiences
  • Familiarity with 5G-Advanced, Direct-to-Device, 6G, AI and digital platform regulation in telecom
  • Excellent communication, analytical, writing, research, and presentation skills
  • Track record of cross-sector partnerships and coalitions
  • Experience collaborating in fast-paced, cross-functional teams
