Overview As Continuous Improvement Lead at our new Lexington, MN facility, you will drive Lean initiatives across manufacturing, logistics, and materials to optimize flow and reduce waste. You'll lead Kaizen events, coach teams, and partner with operations to sustain improvements that boost throughput and inventory accuracy. Your hands-on approach will shape standard work and visual management while delivering measurable results. Responsibilities- Lead and facilitate Kaizen events to reduce waste and improve flow
- Apply Lean methodologies from scoping to sustainment
- Identify inefficiencies by observing production and material flows and implement improvements
- Develop standard work, visual management, and daily management practices
- Train and coach operators, supervisors, and cross-functional partners on Lean principles
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree preferred (B.A. or B.S.); not explicitly required
- 2+ years leading Kaizen events and CI initiatives in manufacturing
- Practical use of Lean tools: Kaizen, 5S, VSM, Standard Work, takt time, root cause problem solving
- Ability to quantify and communicate improvement results (cost savings, productivity, waste reduction)
- Proven coaching and cross-functional influencing abilities
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
