Overview In this role you drive independent testing of financial crime controls within Global Compliance and Ethics. You lead ICT reviews, coordinate delivery, and ensure evidence-based conclusions across multiple jurisdictions. You'll work with Legal Entity Compliance Officers and business teams to align scope and minimize duplication, while shaping testing methodology and reporting. Responsibilities- Manage significant ICT review elements from planning to reporting following ICT methodology
- Develop scope, testing approaches, work programs, and delivery plans for risk areas
- Coordinate day-to-day testing across reviews, allocate activity, monitor progress, escalate risks
- Review testing documentation to ensure completeness, sufficiency of evidence, and clear conclusions
- Monitor regulatory developments and adapt testing approaches to AML, sanctions, KYC/CDD, ABC and financial crime
- Provide independent assessment of control effectiveness through testing and analysis
- Draft concise, evidence-based reports and governance materials
- Lead stakeholder engagement with business units and second-line risk functions
- Coach and quality-assure Analysts, promote ICT methodology, support development and workload planning
- Align review plans with local regulatory requirements and evolving expectations
Key requirements- Minimum 5+ years in Financial Crime Compliance, Compliance Testing, Internal Audit, Risk Management, or related assurance functions in financial services
- Strong subject matter expertise in AML, Sanctions, KYC/CDD, ABC, Transaction Monitoring, Financial Crime Investigations, SARs
- Experience designing or overseeing independent testing, audits, or assurance activities for financial crime programs
- Knowledge of global financial crime regulations (e.g., FinCEN, OFAC, FATF, FCA, EU AML Directives)
- Experience assessing controls across multiple jurisdictions and legal entities
- Proficiency in testing methodologies, root-cause analysis, issue management, and risk assessment
- Ability to challenge management assumptions and form evidence-based conclusions
- Experience managing review workstreams and quality assurance of others
- Strong analytical, interviewing, stakeholder management, and report-writing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Eligibility to work in the United States (visa sponsorship not pursued)
- Preferred: data analytics/tools in testing; ACAMS/CGSS/ICA certification is a plus
