As Audit Manager, you oversee multiple audit and review engagements for state and local government clients, guiding teams and budgets. You act as the liaison between partners, clients, and staff, ensuring high-quality deliverables and strong client relationships. You lead staff development, scheduling, and engagement workflow, while contributing to business development efforts. This role supports a path to Director/Partnership within a firm that values work-life balance and hybrid work arrangements.

• Manage all phases of audits or reviews across multiple engagements
• Maintain ongoing client contact and deepen understanding of client operations and controls
• Flag issues to Director/Partner and propose solutions
• Demonstrate technical proficiency and adherence to firm standards
• Schedule engagements and manage budgets, including scope expansion opportunities
• Understand and apply the firm's audit approach
• Train and supervise junior staff; participate in performance reviews
• Contribute to the Firm's Business Development efforts

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• At least five years of public accounting experience focusing on the public sector and state/local governments
• Current CPA license
