Overview In this AI/ML Lead Engineer VP role, you will steer hands-on development of AI-driven solutions for Private Bank clients within JPMorgan's Asset & Wealth Management AI team. You'll architect and deploy lighthouse ML/LLM-powered systems, build scalable data pipelines, and bring models into production on AWS or Azure. You'll collaborate with cross functional partners to accelerate AI adoption and deliver high-impact technology. Responsibilities- Collaborate with firmwide AI/ML, Business and Product Partners across dispersed teams to align on AI capabilities and deliver impactful solutions
- Hands-on architecture and implementation of lighthouse ML and LLM-powered solutions
- Design and implement scalable, reliable data processing pipelines and deploy model inference services
- Experiment, develop, and productionize high-quality ML models, services, and platforms with significant business impact
- Deploy AI solutions into public cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure)
Key requirements- MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Machine Learning and minimum 7 years of development experience with at least 4 years in AI solutions
- Experience using LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or other models) to solve business problems, including full workflow toolset (tracing, evaluations, guardrails)
- Strong programming skills in Python and deep knowledge in data structures, algorithms, ML, data mining, information retrieval, and statistics
- Ability to independently design end-to-end solutions with focus on modern architecture, scalability, and security
- Knowledge of data management and real-time data processing on SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (OpenSearch, Redis)
