Overview

In this role you will deliver financial analysis and forecasting to support project budgets within a collaborative design firm. You'll work with project teams to maintain accurate cost, schedule, and status data, produce clear reports, and advise management on financial risks and opportunities. You'll also help optimize project controls processes and ensure ISO-aligned project management practices. This is a chance to impact large design projects and partner with cross-disciplinary teams to drive financial discipline and project success.

Responsibilities
  • Provide financial analysis, commitment and expenditure data, and cost forecasts to support budget objectives
  • Collaborate with project teams to maintain current project status, issues, changes, and estimates to complete
  • Produce reports such as earned value, change order logs, risk registers, and variance analyses
  • Cooperate with finance to issue invoices, monitor accounts receivable, and track consultant budgets
  • Develop and optimize Project Controls processes and systems
  • Prepare monthly status reports on cost, schedule, progress, budget, forecast, and manpower
  • Coordinate document control (RFI, submittals, revision control) and assist with audits for ISO standards
  • Support business center leadership with financial analyses, revenue forecasting, and monitoring variances
  • Assist business development by maintaining pursits, resumes and project sheets
  • Track overhead labor and expenses trends, communicating anomalies to leadership
Key requirements
  • Minimum five years of experience in financial analysis, cost management, scheduling, and project controls
  • Experience with project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting
  • Proficiency in MS Office; advanced MS Excel; familiarity with Oracle or similar financial systems; Power BI is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Problem solving and analytical mindset
