Overview In this Controller role, you will lead the accounting organization for a growing manufacturing business. You will drive accurate, timely reporting and strengthen internal controls to support expansion. You'll partner across the business on strategic initiatives while overseeing technical accounting topics and process improvements. This is a hands-on leadership role with a focus on consolidation, close processes, and scalable finance operations to enable growth.
Responsibilities- Direct day-to-day accounting operations across general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycles with a structured, deadline-driven approach.
- Produce consolidated financial statements and reporting per US GAAP and corporate policies.
- Maintain a strong internal control framework and ensure compliance, supporting rapid growth.
- Coordinate with external auditors to plan and complete annual audits and provide required documentation.
- Advise on complex topics such as revenue recognition, lease accounting, inventory valuation, acquisitions, and other technical matters.
- Oversee manufacturing and inventory accounting, including standard costing, reserves, and performance analysis.
- Lead global consolidation and intercompany accounting across multiple entities with accurate eliminations and reconciliations.
- Drive process improvement via automation, system optimization, and disciplined workflows; support acquisitions and corporate initiatives as needed.
- Coach and develop the accounting team while collaborating with FP&A, Operations, banking partners, tax advisors, and consultants to support planning and objectives.
