Overview As a Senior Product Engineer, you will drive strategic product initiatives and rapid delivery across new and legacy systems. You'll balance product focus with engineering discipline, delivering scalable, maintainable software in a fast-moving pod that leverages AI-assisted development. You'll translate ambiguous product intents into clear specs, testable criteria, and production-ready releases. This role sits at the intersection of product, architecture, and operations to generate meaningful business impact.
Responsibilities- Build new products, prototypes, integrations, and production capabilities tied to strategic opportunities
- Improve testability, interfaces, observability, automation, and maintainability within legacy codebases
- Leverage AI coding tools to accelerate code generation, testing, documentation, refactoring, and debugging
- Define clear specs, acceptance criteria, interface contracts, examples, and test plans
- Implement disciplined automated testing (TDD, ATDD, unit, integration, contract, regression) and production validation
- Create fast feedback loops via CI/CD, feature flags, preview environments, observability, and deployment automation
- Collaborate across product, architecture, QA, DevOps, security, operations, and domain experts to enable adoption
- Reduce cycle time by eliminating ambiguity, brittle tests, and unclear ownership
