Overview

In this role you will drive revenue for the mall by marketing and selling its assets while shaping the overall strategic direction of marketing programs. You will work with retailers, advertisers, and the business community to grow assets and programming, aligning with center and corporate objectives. The position focuses on monetizing assets, executing platform and SBV programs, and leading digital and traditional marketing efforts to boost traffic and market share. You will join mall leadership to deliver measurable financial impact and a strong brand presence.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and monetize revenue opportunities through strategic positioning of mall and media assets and programming
  • Develop and implement retailer intensification strategies; promote platform programs and secure retailer offers
  • Execute national/regional SBV programs at field level
  • Create annual marketing budgets based on retailer dues and allocate expenses to support programming and brand messaging
  • Conduct monthly ROI-based forecasting to maximize marketing spend
  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans that support corporate objectives and impact center EBITDA, leasing, and traffic
  • Coordinate visual merchandising, signage, and advertising programs
  • Maintain media relations by fielding calls and preparing responses
  • Drive growth of social media channels (Facebook, Instagram) and increase data collection, SMS and Email subscribers
  • Participate in Manager on Duty rotation and other mall management responsibilities
Key requirements
  • BA or BS in sales, marketing, or business
  • 4-6 years of experience in sales, sponsorship, strategic marketing, event management, and budgeting
  • Knowledge of retail management, marketing, advertising, and media industry
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, selling, and negotiation skills
  • Strong computer skills with clear verbal, visual, and written communication abilities
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
  • Strong team building and coaching skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Some overnight travel required
