Overview In this role you will manage a personal lines book of business in Nassau County, Long Island, focusing on high-end and mixed client portfolios. You will work within a structured workflow and leverage underwriting relationships with major carriers to renew, quote, and adjust coverages and premiums. You'll review renewals, coordinate endorsements and ID cards, and transact mortgage-related tasks when needed, ensuring accurate policy actions. The position offers a clear growth path with compensation up to $120k DOE and opportunities to deepen carrier and system expertise. Responsibilities- Review policy renewals and implement required changes
- Contact underwriters to renew or negotiate coverages and premiums
- Quote for clients and navigate carrier websites
- Review monthly expirations reports
- Transact endorsements, ID cards, mortgage requests, and related tasks as needed
- Manage a full book of business (standard, high-end, or mixed)
- Adhere to an established simplified workflow through the management system (EPIC)
- Engage with major carriers and interface with underwriting teams
Key requirements- Experience with a high-end book of business or mixed book of business
- Familiarity with EPIC or willingness to be trained
- Knowledge of major carrier underwriting and interfaces (e.g., Travelers, Progressive, Safeco, Chubb, PURE, Cincinnati, Berkley One, etc.)
- Ability to review renewals and negotiate coverage and premiums
- Capability to quote, endorse policies, and handle related tasks
- Applied EPIC knowledge (training provided)
