Overview As a Senior Associate, Production Planning, you will manage production scheduling across fiber optics, mechanical, electrical, and electro-optic manufacturing for multiple programs. You will work closely with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, engineering, and program management to ensure timely delivery and material availability. Responsibilities- Plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor products through the production cycle to meet requirements.
- Translate engineering plans and specs into material provisioning and timing.
- Provide status updates to management and coordinate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, engineering, and program management.
- Ensure materials and labor availability to satisfy production and delivery commitments.
- Resolve labor/material shortages and schedule interruptions; prevent backlogs.
- Utilize Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
- Plan multiple product builds across several programs while acting as the cross-functional hardware team liaison.
- Organize and manage large volumes of hardware and maintain controlled stock.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
Key requirements- Bachelor degree with 2+ years of related experience; or Graduate degree with 0-2 years; or 6+ years without a degree.
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI with poly US Government security clearance.
- Experience in production planning, scheduling, and control in hardware manufacturing (fiber optics, electronics, or CCAs).
