Overview

In this role you oversee day-to-day operations for an assigned portfolio and supervise the property management team, aligning with owners' goals and the Kidder Mathews Asset Services mission. You'll drive tenant relations, maintenance oversight, budgeting, and financial reporting, ensuring high-quality service and value for clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operations, leases, and capital improvements. This is a field-respecting, growth-oriented position with a clear impact on asset performance.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a property management team, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management
  • Address tenant concerns, conduct inspections, coordinate repairs, and ensure service quality
  • Oversee vendor contracts, bids, service levels, and budgeting for maintenance and improvements
  • Partner with Property Accountants to ensure timely accounting deliverables and budget management
  • Assist with leasing activities, renewals, market-ready space, and tenant relations
  • Coordinate tenant improvements, construction meetings, punch lists, and documentation
  • Administer property management agreements and manage renewal and budget timelines
  • Support annual budgeting process and provide financial analyses for leases and renewals
  • Generate and review monthly operating statements and narratives for clients
  • Identify and pursue new business, referrals, or consulting opportunities
  • Perform other duties as required
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or combination of education and experience
  • Real Estate License required
  • 3+ years of commercial property management experience
  • 1+ year supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of property management processes and procedures
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, CAM reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Excellent communication and client/vendor relationship skills
  • Ability to travel locally and drive as needed
  • Proficient with MS Office and property management tools (implicit in duties)
