Associate Dean of Research and Innovation

As Associate Dean of Research and Innovation (ADRI), you will lead the college's research vision, strategy, and operations within the Hairston College of Health and Human Sciences. You will drive multidisciplinary, funded research, build external partnerships, and oversee research infrastructure and compliance. You'll mentor junior faculty, manage research budgets, and promote collaboration across departments and with the School of Nursing. • Develop and implement the college's research vision, plan, and policies
• Lead all aspects of the college's research agenda, including infrastructure and operations
• Foster multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary research and collaboration across departments and with the School of Nursing
• Support proposal development and post-award grant management; mentor junior faculty
• Oversee research budgets, programs, and opportunities; evaluate research centers and opportunities
• Coordinate with the Division of Research on compliance and research administration
• Work with grant administrators to support proposal development and post-award activities

• Doctorate in a discipline aligned with the college; at least five years of funded research experience
• Experience managing large research programs and externally funded research
• Administrative leadership experience in a research environment; proven fiscal management
• Record of success in procuring and managing sponsored research programs
• Experience in research policy, compliance, and operation; ability to engage diverse constituencies
