Overview In this role you design, implement, and manage policies to safeguard databases and software, applying deep advisory expertise to solve complex security challenges. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements and report findings to leadership. You'll mentor colleagues and may supervise projects, contributing to a mission-driven, security-first culture. Responsibilities- Design, implement, and manage policies and procedures to ensure database and software security
- Interpret DoD cybersecurity, information security, and IT policy for compliance
- Communicate cybersecurity posture to senior leadership via verbal, written, and visual channels
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to verify policy compliance
- Lead or mentor team members and potentially supervise assignments
- Evaluate organizational cybersecurity reports and identify policy gaps in emerging technologies
Key requirements- 10+ years in compliance analysis
- Knowledge of the DoW, its Components, and authorities/responsibilities of each Component-type
- Ability to interpret DoD policy regarding cybersecurity, information security, and IT
- Strong stakeholder communication skills for policy compliance and reporting
- Ability to present cybersecurity posture information to senior leadership
- TS/SCI clearance
