Overview In this role, you own the product outcomes for Scale's military planning and real-time AI initiatives, partnering with senior DoD and national security stakeholders to drive production deployments in constrained environments. You translate operational reality into actionable input for engineering and platform teams, balancing competing needs across multiple services and commands. You will build trusted advisory relationships, identify bottlenecks, and shape cross-cutting solutions that scale across stakeholders. This is a mission-focused PM role that blends domain fluency, hard-delivery discipline, and strategic influence to deliver production-ready AI in defense contexts.

Responsibilities- Own product outcomes for military planning and LUX across DoD and National Security stakeholders
- Translate operational reality into high-signal input for engineering and platform teams with clear tradeoffs
- Build trusted advisory relationships with senior military and civilian leaders and technical leads
- Drive deployments from contract to production in classified/operationally constrained environments
- Identify whether product, execution, policy, or change management is the constraint and route blockers accordingly
- Shape cross-cutting solutions across multiple stakeholders and use cases
- Partner with Forward Deployed Engineering and Platform Capability teams to run accounts as a coordinated team
- Identify and develop expansion opportunities grounded in demonstrated customer value
- Represent customer reality to platform leadership with credibility to influence decisions
- Balance needs across CCMDs and service components and travel to customer sites, including classified facilities
Key requirements- Active TOP SECRET security clearance (TS/SCI eligibility preferred)
- 6+ years in product management, technical program management, or customer-facing product ownership at L6 scope
- Direct experience with the U.S. Department of War or broader national security community
- Working knowledge of military planning and/or real-time streaming data systems with credible discussion across both
- Proven track record shipping AI or data products into large, constrained, or classified environments
- Extreme ownership and follow-through with cross-team accountability
- Comfort operating with senior military/civilian stakeholders and senior engineers
- Strong judgment under pressure and clear, audience-appropriate communication
- Technical fluency to discuss architectural tradeoffs with platform engineers
