Overview As an Infrastructure Engineer Advisor, you design, secure, and optimize enterprise directory services across a global environment. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable access to systems and applications, lead infrastructure projects, and drive continuous improvement. You will tackle complex incidents and align directory strategies with business goals. This role offers impact by advancing secure, scalable identity and access solutions at scale.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and support Active Directory, LDAP, and DNS environments
- Migrate applications between domains and ensure integration with directory services
- Respond to Priority 1 incidents and assist in resolution
- Collaborate with application owners to securely integrate apps with directory services
- Enhance identity, access, and entitlement management via directory technologies
- Provide engineering leadership for infrastructure solutions across locations and domains
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure compatibility and performance issues
- Partner with IT leaders to develop endpoint and infrastructure management strategies
- Lead or support infrastructure projects and coordinate with engineers, contractors, or vendors
- Design and implement new technologies and enhancements to existing systems
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and support teams
- Maintain technical documentation, configurations, and program libraries
- Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and technologies
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent
- 3+ years in enterprise infrastructure in a large-scale environment (>10,000 users)
- Strong experience with Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, and Windows Server
- PowerShell scripting and Group Policy administration
- Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and performing root cause analysis
- ITIL Service Operations knowledge and best practices
- Strong problem-solving, independent and collaborative work abilities
- Excellent communication with technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with virtualization, networking, and operating systems (preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft technologies (Exchange, Skype/Lync, Citrix) (plus)
- Knowledge of VMware ESXi, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and LDAP technologies (preferred)
- Microsoft or relevant technical certifications (plus)
- Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure in a 24/7 global environment (highly desirable)
