Overview

In this role you will support the Naval Helo Mission Systems team in Owego, driving project planning and execution for naval helicopter programs. You will liaise with engineering, program management, and customer teams to coordinate schedules, resources, and cost plans, ensuring on-time delivery and performance. You'll work with senior leaders to analyze metrics, manage workloads, and support earned value and schedule integrity. This is a hybrid, DoD-cleared position offering meaningful, mission-driven work.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate department engineering planner activities, workload planning, analytics, and senior-leadership presentations
  • Collect and validate metrics for technical leads and program managers
  • Support workload reviews and staffing projections through workforce planning reports
  • Track actuals vs. plans and support Earned Value Management and Control Account Management
  • Develop Integrated Master Schedules and manage schedule status
  • Prepare and coordinate plans and schedules for new or existing programs
  • Analyze cost, budgets, and manpower requirements; propose corrective actions
  • Support negotiations with customers and assess resource impacts across departments
Key requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years in planning or scheduling
  • Experience with LM Vemo Planning and Analytics tool
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with PM Compass, Cobra, wInsight, Tableau, GenBOE, and/or Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence)
  • US citizen able to obtain a Secret clearance
  • DoD SECRET clearance prior to start (required)
  • Strong communication with government customers
  • Structured, analytical approach to data and deliverables
  • Ability to collaborate across engineering, PM, and operations teams
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
  • Python and/or VBA (desirable)
  • Cam/Control Account Management (CAM) certification (desirable)
