Overview As aSenior Financial Analyst, you will partner with Sales, Services, and Marketing to manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You'll build models, analyze investments, and provide insights to guide resource allocation. You'll own pipeline, bookings, and backlog reporting while improving data-driven decision support. This on-site role in San Jose offers collaboration with cross-functional teams to enable the company's Go-To-Market success and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities- Manage financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for Sales, Services, and Marketing (OPL, forecasts, outlooks, variance analysis)
- Partner with leaders to manage headcount plans, hires, and related expenses
- Track non-headcount investments (marketing programs, commissions, consultants, travel, technology)
- Build and maintain financial models for budget scenarios and resource allocation
- Prepare monthly/quarterly management reporting on performance, risks, and actions
- Develop and improve pipeline metric reporting with Marketing and Sales Operations
- Analyze marketing ROI and its link to pipeline, bookings, and performance indicators
- Support bookings and backlog reporting including trend analysis and insights
- Coordinate with Controller's organization on close, accruals, and reconciliations
- Identify process improvements; develop AI-enabled workflows and scalable reporting tools
- Support special projects, business cases, and ad-hoc analyses
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of FP&A, commercial/marketing finance, or related experience
- Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills
- Experience with budgeting, variance analysis, headcount planning, and expense management
- Ability to analyze sales, marketing, or performance metrics (pipeline, bookings, ROI, etc.)
- Proficient in enterprise systems/BI tools (SAP, Oracle, Anaplan, Hyperion, Power BI, QuickSight, Tableau, Salesforce, or similar)
