Responsibilities- Lead and deliver federal, state, and international tax compliance services for alternative investment clients
- Ensure timely data collection, prepare filings, and minimize client tax and reporting burden
- Manage engagements, including budgeting, billing, and collections, and mentor junior staff
- Develop client relationships and support new business opportunities
- Document work, conclusions, and ensure compliance with firm policies and TQM
- Identify and implement efficient tax strategies within tax consulting scope
- Collaborate with Partners, Managers, and Associate teams to close open items
Key requirements- Eight (8) or more years of relevant tax experience
- Prior supervisory experience
- Experience in Financial Services tax for Alternative Investments (VC, PE, Real Estate, Hedge Funds) preferred
- Proficiency in taxation of partnerships preferred
- CPA, Attorney, or EA required
- Strong communication, analytical, and client-relations skills
- Ability to delegate and lead teams effectively
