Overview In this role you will lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning to align with Fluence's financial goals while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive strategic decision-making. You'll own and optimize FP&A tools such as Anaplan, NSPB, and Salesforce for data integration and reporting, and help scale finance systems and processes. You'll deliver insightful analyses, support external reporting, and coordinate with key stakeholders to support earnings-driven decisions. This position offers exposure to cross-functional collaboration, external stakeholder engagement, and impact on the company's growth in the energy transition.
Responsibilities- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning aligned to corporate goals
- Act as Finance Business Partner to cross-functional teams providing strategic financial insights
- Administer and optimize FP&A tools (Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion Planning/NSPB, Salesforce) for data integration
- Lead or support finance system enhancements to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy
- Perform ad hoc analyses, reporting, and business modeling
- Prepare monthly MBR presentations with cross-functional inputs
- Collaborate with Corporate Accounting to publish supplemental external metrics for quarterly earnings
- Coordinate quarterly forecast updates to external parties (e.g., Siemens and AES)
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- 2 years of FP&A experience
- 2 years in budgeting/forecasting including variance analysis and scenario modeling
- Experience with FP&A tools (Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion Planning/NSPB, SAP BPC)
- Data extraction from ERP systems (NetSuite or SAP) for analysis and integration
- Strategic financial insights to support operations, supply chain, and commercial teams
- Preparing external financial reports and GAAP/non-GAAP reconciliations
