Responsibilities- Coordinate due diligence reviews with internal teams and external counsel; assess potential targets and present findings
- Provide legal analysis and advice on deal structures
- Draft and negotiate various deal documents
- Assist in structuring divestitures
- Lead deal team integration and coordinate law department integration efforts
- Develop, implement, and improve playbooks, processes, and training programs
Key requirements- J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Recognized as guru or external expert in a function
- Broad, comprehensive expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques, or technologies within own field
- Influences internal/external business and regulatory issues affecting the business
- Leads highly visible multidisciplinary project teams or initiatives; provides thought leadership
