Overview In this role you drive new group benefits business and service existing accounts, leveraging referrals and direct outreach. You will manage renewals, market analyses, and reporting to help client groups optimize costs and outcomes. You work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain service platforms and ensure compliance. Responsibilities- Prospect for and secure new business via referrals, direct outreach, and centers of influence
- Obtain AOR letters for takeover business and enroll/maintain startup accounts
- Provide ongoing service to group accounts and members (daily/weekly/monthly)
- Build and maintain technology platforms needed to service accounts
- Present annual renewals with market analyses for all lines of coverage
- Provide timely reports on costs, claims, Rx spending to highlight focus areas
- Produce monthly prospecting, new business, and renewal activity reports to management
- Prepare financial reports outlining revenue and expense controls and help manage expenses within budget
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies and training requirements
- Adapt to additional duties as assigned
Key requirements- 3-5 years of insurance sales experience, Employee Benefits sales experience strongly preferred
- Life and health insurance licenses required
- HS Diploma (bachelor's degree preferred)
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word)
- Ability to interpret financial reports and legal documents
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Professional conduct and privacy of client data
