Overview In this role you build and maintain the Microsoft Fabric data platform, delivering scalable data products for analytics, reporting, and AI across functions. You work within Enterprise Applications, Data, and AI Platforms to design pipelines, lakehouses, and semantic models that support cross-domain data sharing. You translate business needs into governed, reliable data solutions in an Agile DevOps setting. This is a hands-on, collaborative role with a focus on data quality, governance, and impact across the firm.

Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and advanced transformations using Microsoft Fabric tools
- Create Fabric Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions on OneLake with governance and cross-domain sharing
- Model data using dimensional/Medallion approaches and build optimized Power BI datasets (DAX, Power Query)
- Implement data quality, validation, monitoring, and error-handling processes
- Deploy and manage data solutions via CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) and maintain technical docs
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and track work in Azure DevOps boards
- Support Azure AI Foundry workloads, including grounding datasets and RAG-related data prep
- Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions with Business Data Experts and Sponsors
- Advocate enterprise data governance, security, standards, and knowledge-first support
- Participate in testing activities (unit, integration, UAT) and ensure data accuracy
- Use AI tools within governance standards for model implementation
- Contribute to AI-enabled solutions on the Microsoft stack within a governed portfolio
Key requirements- 2+ years delivering Microsoft Fabric solutions (Data Factory, Dataflow Gen2, Notebooks, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse)
- SQL and Python for transformations; Spark experience
- CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Power BI proficiency (DAX, Power Query) and semantic modeling
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry groundwork and RAG pipelines
- Real-time analytics and event-driven architecture with Microsoft Fabric (Eventstream, KQL)
- Knowledge of data governance, Purview, metadata management, and sensitivity labeling
- Strong communication and collaboration across offices/time zones
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; equivalent experience acceptable
- Willingness to travel up to 10% and participate in release windows
