Overview In this role you design and optimize procurement and SCM processes for Nuclear and Environmental Management clients, developing a comprehensive set of procedures and cross-functional workflows. You will harmonize interfaces across departments, map current and future-state processes, and create user-friendly SOPs and handbooks. You'll help drive compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement while supporting both virtual and on-site delivery in the Southeast region. This position combines process engineering with practical governance to deliver structured, publication-ready procedures that enable effective contracts and supply chain execution.

Responsibilities- Map current-state and future-state processes; develop SOP architecture; harmonize interdepartmental procedure interfaces; simplify procedures for user comprehension; define process controls, handoffs, inputs, outputs, and decision points; support publication-ready procedure development
- Design integrated procedures and cross-functional workflows to ease C&SCM execution and strengthen compliance
- Identify contract inefficiencies, recommend strategic amendments, and optimize performance, cost, compliance, and mission outcomes
- Develop and customize procurement and supply chain procedures; create and update forms, terms, and conditions reflecting new procedures; produce lifecycle flowcharts and visual representations
- Provide training (virtual and in-person) and establish continuous improvement mechanisms through feedback and monitoring
- Maintain compliance of procedures, forms, and terms with prime contracts, governing documents, and laws
- Establish communications plan with stakeholders and conduct in-depth review of prime contract and governing documents
Key requirements- 7+ years in business process improvement, process engineering, operational transformation, SOP development, or management consulting
- experience with procurement, supply chain, contracts, or regulated operations (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field; Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, BPM, CBAP, or equivalent preferred
