Overview In this role you will design and deliver BI/data warehousing solutions for enterprise clients, translating business requirements into technical specs. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, SME teams, and Netezza experts to drive data modeling and warehousing enhancements. You'll lead project coordination, mentor offshore teammates, and contribute to pre-sales and knowledge capital. This is a hands-on, client-facing position that builds scalable data solutions while shaping IT strategy.
Responsibilities- Requirements elicitation and analysis using templates and documents
- Coordinate with business, Functional SME, and Netezza expert
- Manage projects: timelines, meetings, offshore/onshore alignment, validation and sign-off
- Perform data modeling and data warehouse design in Netezza
- Provide billable consulting support: implementation, enhancement, integration, or audit
- Develop application development, product assistance, and performance tuning
- Contribute to knowledge capital via project documentation and best practices
- Lead and mentor offshore team
- Participate in pre-sales support activities when appropriate
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent; 7+ years of development/consulting experience
- 7+ years of BI/data warehousing/ETL experience
- Proficiency in BI development, SQL and shell scripting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience translating business requirements into technical specs (S2T mappings)
- Excellent written and oral communication; ability to present to all levels of business
- Mentoring and leadership ability; capable of working with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with implementation methodologies
