Overview

In this role you help shape how AIG underwrites Global Property risk, collaborating across CUO, operations and field teams to improve decision making and tooling. You will influence underwriting guidelines, data insights, and project delivery to support cross-border property risk strategies. The position offers impact through developing global tools, sharing knowledge, and driving data-driven improvements in a large insurance organization. You will work in a collaborative, in-office culture with a strong focus on growth and transformation.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and develop Global Property underwriting guidelines with the CUO Property
  • Update and manage the global Property SharePoint site
  • Serve as SME for the SCUP initiative
  • Develop and review CUO-driven global/regional tools (SCUP, GLMS, Cat reporting) with relevant departments
  • Represent the Property CUO in projects (SCUP, data/digital initiatives) and other priorities
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure user-centric system/tool development
  • Own quarterly Property Facility bordereaux within CUO
  • Manage and engage in global Property projects across divisions
  • Maintain underwriting tools and liaise with field to address tool needs
  • Drive data insight partnerships by analyzing internal/external data (e.g., scorecards)
Key requirements
  • Knowledge of strategy development and execution
  • Proficiency in VBA to build tools and guide programming teams
  • Experience across multiple countries and cultures
  • Experience collaborating with senior-level stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills with multi-task prioritization
