Overview As Construction Manager for HDR's Goshen Tunnel Rehab Project, you lead field execution for rehabilitating two century-old irrigation tunnels. You'll coordinate with multiple contractors under CMAR and DBB contracts to deliver safe, compliant, and durable water infrastructure. You'll partner with engineers and project teams to ensure schedule, budget, and quality meet project goals. Your work directly supports public health, environmental sustainability, and regional resilience. Responsibilities- Interpret drawings and specs, resolving discrepancies
- Maintain daily activity logs and material/equipment usage
- Verify material quality for contract compliance
- Develop pay estimates and track quantities
- Attend or chair progress meetings
- Observe installation and perform acceptance testing
- Identify nonconforming work and manage punch lists
- Prepare record documentation for engineer review
- Assist with project audit/closeout
- supervise junior Resident Project Representatives and inspectors
Key requirements- Bachelor in Construction Management (or closely related field) and 2+ years of construction planning/management experience
- Experience with field engineering, submittals, estimating, scheduling, and site safety
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with construction management software (Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc.)
- Willingness to work in an employee-owned, collaborative culture
