Overview In this role you lead on-site construction activities for Wyoming projects within HDR's Water Business Group. You'll ensure accurate reporting on progress, safety, quality, and budgets while coordinating with Owner, Engineer, and Contractor teams. You shape scheduling, change orders, and staffing to deliver safe, compliant infrastructure gains. This is a hands-on leadership position in a collaborative, employee-owned culture focused on sustainable water solutions.
Responsibilities- Maintain daily construction records and reports on progress, safety, quality, permit compliance, schedule and budget status
- Review submittals including shop drawings and pay applications
- Prepare, issue and negotiate Change Orders
- Review and analyze baseline and updated construction schedules
- Coordinate with Owner, Engineer, and Contractor
- Work individually or support more-senior staff on larger, more complex projects
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning for the Wyoming Construction teams
- Coordinate and manage construction equipment and trucks, including assignments, tracking, maintenance, and availability
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science or closely related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction planning and management (field engineering, submittals, estimating, scheduling, site safety)
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc.
