Responsibilities- Define and execute multi-year strategy for enterprise data, semantic/knowledge platforms, analytics enablement, and third-party data capabilities.
- Provide architecture guidance and technology decision-making across data, analytics, AI, graph technologies, and external data ecosystems.
- Lead platform roadmaps, adoption plans, and measurable outcomes with cross-functional partners.
- Build and mentor high-performing engineering leaders; foster innovation and continuous improvement.
- Oversee operationalization of new platform capabilities and services enterprise-wide.
- Drive modernization through cloud adoption, platform rationalization, automation, and scalable engineering practices.
- Ensure platforms are scalable, secure, compliant, and reliable.
- Manage lifecycle of graph databases, semantic layers, ontology services, and knowledge graphs.
Key requirements- 12+ years in data platform engineering, data architecture, semantic technologies, or related fields with leadership experience in large enterprises.
- Strong leadership in building, operating, and modernizing enterprise-scale data, semantic, and knowledge platforms.
- Deep understanding of platform engineering practices: ingestion, orchestration, transformation, observability, security, cost management.
- Experience with graph databases, ontology-driven solutions, knowledge graphs, metadata platforms.
- Proven ability to lead architecture, scalability, reliability, and operational support of complex data platforms.
- Hands-on depth to guide architecture decisions and influence strategy.
- Proven success in platform modernization, cloud transformation, and organizational change.
- Experience with Third-Party Data capabilities, including governance and compliance.
- Knowledge of AI-enabled data ecosystems (GraphRAG, vector search, RAG, Snowflake Cortex, Gemini) and AI/ML integration patterns.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams in matrixed organizations.
