Overview In this role you will lead complex client contracting in healthcare, focusing on PBM and related services. You'll serve as first-chair negotiator on high value agreements and advise executive leaders on legal risk and strategy. You'll work with cross functional teams to align legal outcomes with business goals while proactively mitigating risk. The position offers remote work flexibility with in office requirements in some locations, and a path to influence enterprise wide contracting practices.

Responsibilities- Lead and negotiate complex client contracts, including master services and PBM agreements
- Draft, review, and negotiate non-standard terms balancing risk and commercial needs
- Oversee contract lifecycle from proposal to termination and dispute resolution
- Advise senior leaders on legal, regulatory, and contractual risk with actionable mitigation
- Provide strategic, business focused legal solutions and anticipate issues
- Partner with sales, finance, compliance, regulatory, and operations teams
- Collaborate with other internal legal groups on cross functional matters
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to best practices, templates, and playbooks
Key requirements- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 10+ years in complex commercial PBM contracting within healthcare or related fields
- Proven experience leading high stakes negotiations as first chair counsel
