Overview

In this Finance Manager II role, you will serve as a financial partner to drive performance and informed decision-making across the Midwest Equipment Manufacturing sites. You'll lead a regional finance team within North America Supply Chain Finance, shaping cost efficiency and profitable growth through planning, control, and strategic analysis. You'll partner with cross-functional stakeholders to embed financial discipline and scalable processes. This is a high-visibility role with a focus on impact, automation, and standardization to support growth and accountability.

Responsibilities
  • Act as financial business partner to drive decision support and profitable growth
  • Lead and coach a team to maximize performance and development
  • Manage performance processes: monthly close, forecasting, annual planning, and variance explanations
  • Ensure SOX/GAAP adherence and strong financial controls across operations
  • Support capital project analysis including payback, ROI, and cost savings
  • Develop tools, analytics and insights linking operations to financial outcomes
  • Standardize processes and drive automation to improve financial workflows
  • Collaborate with supply chain partners to standardize practices and enable scalable improvements
  • Perform special projects and ad-hoc analyses as required
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 8 years of experience in finance and/or accounting
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
  • Strong change management and leadership capabilities
  • Solid understanding of accounting concepts and practices
  • Proven ability to influence management and drive financial performance
  • Experience in process improvement, project management, and critical thinking
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Aptitude for operating in system/data environments to improve efficiency
