Overview In this role, you lead the accounting team to ensure compliant financial operations and efficient processes. You will implement and maintain accounting systems, develop training programs, and produce timely financial statements and forecasts for leadership. You'll coordinate audits, verify records, and mentor staff, all while upholding internal controls and reporting standards. Responsibilities- Oversee accounting department and ensure systems are followed
- Develop training materials, procedures, and programs to improve efficiency
- Compile financial statements and reports; produce monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and forecasts
- Coordinate staff audit schedules and set timelines for project goals
- Verify records of financial transactions with supporting documents
- Coach and mentor staff; set development goals
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and external reporting requirements
- Perform other assigned tasks
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or 4 years related experience
- Knowledge of internal control procedures and management information systems
- Interpret and explain major business issues
- Knowledge of budgetary, accounting and reporting systems
- Eight years' directly related experience
