Overview In this role you will join a prominent AmLaw 200 law firm's Tampa Construction Litigation Practice to handle meaningful disputes for a diverse client base. You will work closely with partners and senior attorneys in a collaborative, client focused environment, applying your litigation skills to contract, defect, and delay claims. The position offers growth, mentorship, and early responsibility in high stakes construction matters. Responsibilities- Represent clients in construction litigation, including contract disputes, defects, and delay claims
- Draft sophisticated litigation documents with accuracy and strategic insight
- Manage discovery activities: document review, depositions, expert coordination
- Conduct legal research and case analysis to develop litigation strategy
- Collaborate with Partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation
Key requirements- JD from a top-tier law school
- Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing
- 4-5 years of substantive general litigation experience with a focus on construction litigation
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
- Experience handling discovery and depositions
- Excellent legal writing and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with a client-service mindset
